This little fireplace got an update... but somehow, it feels like it was always meant to be like this.
I coated it in Microcement and made the mantel out of some old structural beams i had saved.
Came out nice.

And just to be clear, this particular project is not all that strenuous... it was just an easy one to film.
But furthering this point...
I think another danger in this wording, or phrasing, is that it makes some workers think that the physical work is all they need to do. But if you dont make specific active choices outside of work to keep yourself in shape, the work can and will break you down.
